In August, we went to the Arboretum with some friends who we home school with. It was SO pretty! The weather was nice. The Arboretum had set up little storybook displays, like playhouses modeling and telling the story of different books. Some that I remember were Eragon, Alice in Wonderland, the Lorax, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and more. Sorry, no pictures!
The Arboretum had not set up for fall yet, and the flowers were so bright. The pictures here are of this "tunnel" of trees we walked underneath-my first time actually seeing something like this in real life, I think. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies, Anne of Green Gables (when Nathan is bringing her home to Avonlea.) It was SO pretty and BIG that I had to get some pictures.
